Terms of Service

The service

The app provides estimating, proposal, invoicing, and project management tools for remodeling work, including AI assisted drafting. AI generated estimates and documents are drafts for your professional review. You are responsible for the accuracy of anything you send to a client, and nothing the app produces is a substitute for a licensed engineer, inspector, or the requirements of your local permitting authority.

Your account and content

You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You retain ownership of the business records you create. You grant us the limited rights needed to store, process, and display that content to run the service, including processing by the AI providers named in our Privacy Policy. Do not upload content you lack the right to use.

Payments

Client payments processed through the app are handled by Stripe under its own terms. Estimates, proposals, and contracts are between you and your client; we are not a party to them.

Acceptable use

No unlawful use, no attempts to breach or probe the service, no reselling access, and no interference with other users. We may suspend accounts that put the service or other users at risk.

Text messaging program

By providing your mobile number and checking the consent box on our contact form, you agree to receive text messages from HCP Remodeling (Home Crashpad LLC) about your remodeling project. Messages include notice that your estimate is ready to review and approve, notice that an invoice is ready to view and pay, links to progress photos of your property, and occasional messages about your project such as confirming an appointment or arrival time.

Consent is not a condition of purchase, and we send no promotional or marketing texts. Message frequency varies and depends on activity on your job. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for our business name and contact number, or call us at (832) 558-8658. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. For how we handle your number, including that we do not share or sell it, see our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amounts you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for the outcomes of construction work you perform.

Termination and changes

You can delete your account at any time from the app. We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app or by email, and continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
