Privacy Policy

What we collect

Account information you provide: your name, email address, and phone number. Business records you create in the app: client contact details, project addresses, estimates, proposals, invoices, payments, schedules, notes, and photos or documents you upload. Technical information: device push tokens (so we can send you notifications you asked for) and basic logs needed to keep the service running.

How we use it

To run the product: building estimates, generating proposals and invoices, sending the messages you approve, and syncing your data across your devices. Voice recordings you dictate are transcribed to text. Photos, documents, and project descriptions you submit are processed by AI services to draft estimates and summaries for your review. We do not sell your information, and we do not use your business records to advertise to anyone.

Who processes it

We use established service providers under contract: Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), Anthropic and OpenAI (AI drafting and transcription), Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), and Twilio (text messages). Each receives only what it needs to perform its function. Payment card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers.

Text messages

If you give us your mobile number and check the box agreeing to receive texts, we send you text messages about your own project: that your estimate is ready to review and approve, that an invoice is ready to view and pay, links to progress photos taken at your property, and occasional messages from our office such as confirming an appointment or arrival time. We do not send promotional or marketing texts, and we do not text anyone who has not contacted us first.

Message frequency varies. We text only when there is an actual update on your job, which is typically a few messages per project. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.

You can reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time, and we will stop texting you. Reply HELP to receive our business name and contact number. Opting out of texts does not affect your project, and we will still reach you by email or phone.

We do not share or sell mobile phone numbers or text messaging consent with any third party for their own marketing purposes. Mobile numbers are disclosed only to Twilio, our messaging carrier, solely so it can deliver the messages you asked for on our behalf. No other third party receives your mobile number for marketing, and we do not sell it under any circumstances.

Your choices and rights

You can export your company data from the app at any time. You can delete your account and company data from the app settings; deletion takes effect after a 30 day grace period in case you change your mind. You can also email us to request access, correction, or deletion. Push notifications can be turned off in your device settings.

Retention and security

We keep your records for as long as your account is active, then delete them on the schedule above. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is limited by role, and financial records may be retained longer where the law requires it.
